[Radio Silence 2023]

this is some really cool orchestral techno! the noisy sound effects strewn throughout are nice, and the harmonies are really inspiring

cool work! i do feel like the orchestral parts could use more variation. a lot of the time it seems they play the same melody repeatedly. also, asides from the main bass, maybe the mix is a bit too muffled, not treble-ly enough, at least for my taste? lastly, i think you could have used a different sample for the pan snare. something longer, higher in pitch, and more ring-y. that's how i prefer my pan snares :D

there needs to be something to glue this mixdown together more. maybe some compression, maybe some pads, or maybe some more consistent sound design? the sidechain is a bit too much, and i don't like the distortion with every kick drum hit. also, the attack on the snare starting at 2:08 is too loud for my taste, and the sub distorts the mix significantly too much

the sound design and melodies are alright, but please address these problems in your mixdowns

the intense resonant filter modulation reminds me of something. like something rubbery or wet, like rubbing your leg really quickly when it's covered with body wash. i love it so much, don't ask me why i'm bringing that up here

congrats on the frontpage!

the sounds are quite nice, the mixing is decent, my only criticism is that there needs to be some sidechaining to glue everything together

i like it! the melodies are characteristically cinematic, and i think that sounds pretty cool! i also enjoy the recurring theme

my only criticism is that the instrumentation is a little too "synthetic"? i.e., it's too obvious that you're using sample libraries. i'd suggest learning about dynamics and humanization

but that's all!
