[Two Thousand and Eight]

this is decent. it almost feels like a dimrain47 or paragonx9 song in some parts (although that may only be because of the familiar instrumentation). the mixing does feel somewhat "muted", which may be because it lacks high end. compositionally, it could be better, especially because this song doesn't have defined "sections", but instead simply goes on and on. nontheless, you did a great job at evoking the golden age of flash games!

really cool! the kick sounds you made work really well in the genres of hardstyle and industrial. the synths are very good too, although they do lack some high end. the arrangement and mixing are very good too! great experiment!

the bass is too wide in the stereo space, and the drums could use some reverb to help them fit into the song. the choir pad is very nice! seems like it has potential.

[75 Degrees]

the song is generally kind of empty, which you could fix by putting in pads or sfx. the intro is too repetitve and boring, and it could use some variation or melody. the bass idea is nice, and i like the way it sounds, but the drums are too quiet for me to discern them. i do like the drum fills at the end of the drops. for five hours, this is decent, but it does need some polish for it to be great.

[Deus Ex Machina (An Orchestral Medley)]

great piece! you did a great job at creating an intense, fearful feeling through melody! the instruments sound very good, and the way you used dynamics really contributes to the swaying emotions in this piece. i really like how you kept changing the tempo to suit the progression. i personally think that the part at 1:28 could have hit harder through increasing the bass on those drums and generally increasing the volume. the part at 1:54 really makes up for it! everything else is very good, and they all segue into each other very nicely. overall, this is very good!

maybe the climax could be less distorted and eqed, but everything else is very good!

[H~ "Starlight Paradox"]

very good! i really like the portamento melodies, and the arps halfway into the song add a nice atmosphere. personally, i think that the compression could be toned down a little because the song has little to no dynamics. i definitely wish that this would be longer.

nice! the sounds are very good, especially that fm-sounding bass at the beginning and the polysynth pad at the end. i think that this track could use less smooth development, because every part sounds too similar for my taste. i like it!

very calm little song. everything could be a little louder, but i think that's all that needs to be done with this.
