maybe the drums could be a little more quiet, but i really love the melodies. very good for a second attempt, you should extend this

FirechompGD responds:

Thanks!might try extending it

some less bitcrushing would have been nice personally, but the sound design and arrangement here is stellar, and this whole song in general is one of the most creative things i've heard so far from anyone. keep collaborating, you two!

CHEEZ2600 responds:

Thank you very much. Really.
It was about time that I collaborated with Salt and so far the results are fantastic. We may end up working on an album sometime, but who knows at this point, amirite? =^v^=

that strange acid sound is rather harsh on the ears. it sounds like its clipping or it has too much high end; i recommend filtering it to fix this. everything else here is very pretty, though.

GeometryDashMau5Kids responds:

sip, para la otra hare mas filtros y bajar el volumen. gracias por tu reseƱa ;)

i like it! the middle part actually is pretty good, i like its fusion of speed and melody. the rest of the song is very good too; the melodies are very danceable and fun. you've really mastered the 2000's era techno style here.

Ryzmik responds:

Thanks for the review! I'm glad to know you liked it and compared it with the 2000's techno :D

the dissonant tritone really gives an eerie feeling, and the way you've used it here is absolutely skillful. everything else here, including the arrangement and mixing, is great too! can't wait to see the full song

dj-Nate responds:

Check out the description for the updated project. Thanks for the review :)

very good for a rough draft! those riffs are killer! personally, i do wish that the drums were more clear, instead of being obscured by the guitar, but i like them like this too!

FarFromSundown responds:

Thank you so much! I actually just put out a version with vocals if you're interested! :)

i'm not sure why this is tagged as ambient, even though it's dubstep, but that doesn't matter. everything here is great, including the melodies, sounds, and mixing. i like how this doesn't have any real "drops" or other section and instead simply flows along. it makes it very calm. great job, i always enjoy seeing new things from you!

also, congrats on the frontpage!

Vista-Sound13 responds:

This review means a lot to me, I appreciate it, thanks!

EDIT: I really didn't think this was dubstep, because I didn't put any wobbles, growls, or other dubstep basses. I put electronic drums, but apparently, they are dubstep drums.

the bass is too wide in the stereo space, and the drums could use some reverb to help them fit into the song. the choir pad is very nice! seems like it has potential.

FwWFW responds:

Already figured out about the bass, thanks for cnc again

the song is generally kind of empty, which you could fix by putting in pads or sfx. the intro is too repetitve and boring, and it could use some variation or melody. the bass idea is nice, and i like the way it sounds, but the drums are too quiet for me to discern them. i do like the drum fills at the end of the drops. for five hours, this is decent, but it does need some polish for it to be great.

FwWFW responds:

Much thanks for the review, I'll work on these issues in my next works.

very good! i really like the portamento melodies, and the arps halfway into the song add a nice atmosphere. personally, i think that the compression could be toned down a little because the song has little to no dynamics. i definitely wish that this would be longer.

ssymboint responds:

Thank you xD

Edit: I toned down the compression but, better dynamics but a bit of distortion xD
