very calm little song. everything could be a little louder, but i think that's all that needs to be done with this.

FirechompGD responds:

thanks!

the mixing does sound kind of muddy, but the composition and progression is very good! i think that the buildup could have used a riser alongside the snare build, and the drop could have had more impact by being louder. i recommend boosting the high ends (but not too much) to make your mix more bright. lastly, during the drop, and more or less the entire song, the drums need to be much more loud, whether through decreasing compression, sidechaining, or simply increasing their volume. nontheless, this is good, and i would love to see you extend this song at some point!

also, that audio visualizer makes me worried.

FirechompGD responds:

Thanks, about that I only use a mobile DAW called caustic 3, it can only export to .ogg and. Wav files so I gotta convert it into mp3, anyways thanks!

this is beautiful! the pitch bending really adds a fragile and emotional effect to this song. the extreme panning is rather disorienting, but i think that that only adds to the track in the end.

ssymboint responds:

Oh why thank you :D, I did go a bit nuts on the panning. I guess I already had a feel for the song. I really do appreciate your positive feedback. xD

this is very good! the atmosphere is very calm here, and the bass sounds very cool! perhaps the drums can be eq'ed a little (the snare could be more prominent), but that's all that this could really use.

i9incher responds:

I tried keeping it pretty close to the 90's jungle sound, which tended to have really flat drums across the board. Overall I think I got the sound while still having a decent mix. Thanks for the feedback!

i like this! i personally don't think that this sounds like future funk, but it's still a good song nontheless. nothing really needs to be improved here.

BottomKek responds:

i dont have much experience with the genre so yeah i can see that my guess was off

the dissonance in this track is interesting, but it's incredibly repetitive (even for a loop).

finicalpricklez responds:

are you dick cheneys daughter

Well, that is some rather interesting inspiration. (;o-o) Otherwise, this is a decent track. I do wish that there was some melodic progression or some other change in the song, but I like how it is now. The way that this is now, it actually would be perfect as an instrumental for some vocals.

Vista-Sound13 responds:

(Sorry for the wait)

Well, thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I do hold your feedback.

The drums could be more prominent (you could try either increasing the volume or using more sidechain compression), and the psytrance bass is noticably unbalanced in volume as well. You could also try making more use of stereo space, as everything here sounds like it's in mono. Other than these, this is great! I like the instruments and synths that you used here.

Kyutatsuki responds:

It's really just some old stuff and yes I agree with you

I like this! The instrumentation makes this very beautiful, and I like how you occasionally changed the drum breaks. Although the abrupt drum entry actually scared me, this does not affect my view of this song. This is very good; keep at it!

Dieswyx responds:

I'm sorry that the abrupt change has scared you.
I really appreciate your review. :J

The sound design in this song is alright. However, the song does sound rather muffled; boosting the high frequencies should fix this. The melodies are very dense and meandering, and I think that this works well for this song. The saw lead that you introduced in the second part of the song is quite nice; it adds some interesting consonances with the other lead. There is not a lot to this song, and it is rather short, but what is present is quite nice!

Syntrus responds:

Keep it short I always say! Flash game and video producers don't want big complicated hard to animate to scores.
